The artwork in this collection began when I found a beautiful, antique découpage wooden box with a set of small matching plates inside. The mini paintings are bold and bright and are mounted on top of the plate to make the perfect frame for each painting. These painting can me hung on a gallery wall ( I would suggest command strips as there are no hanging pieces attached to the plate “frame”) or work perfectly on a small art easel to be added to a shelf or tabletop.

Materials and sizing : each painting was done on 140 lb cold pressed paper and lightly sealed for protection, but please note that they are not behind glass so they will still need to be protected from water. The plates are antiques made in Japan with a beautiful découpage finish. They are made of wood and measure 4 inches around. The paintings measure 2.75 inches around.
